Born out of a desire to challenge traditional media models, THX News was established in June 2020. Over two and a half years of dedicated research and development, Golden and his team have crafted a cutting-edge platform that aims to reshape the landscape of information consumption.
Despite facing challenges along the way, including unexpected personnel changes and financial constraints, THX News has persevered. A group of dedicated volunteers, spanning various parts of the world, continue to work tirelessly to bring the project to fruition. Their efforts have resulted in the creation of a demo website, which has garnered positive feedback and paved the way for the forthcoming full-scale launch.
The upcoming THX News website will feature a sleek and user-friendly interface, providing a seamless experience for visitors. Behind the scenes, the platform utilizes an advanced database system, surpassing industry standards. By leveraging this technology, THX News can generate tailor-made web pages in real time, ensuring users receive highly relevant content without the need for extensive searches.
While THX News operates with a budget of zero dollars and no ad revenue, its focus remains firmly on the mission to provide free access to information. With nearly 1,000 articles already published on the demo website, covering topics ranging from news to travel and education, THX News has built a strong foundation for its future endeavors.
As an early-stage media startup, THX News looks to the future with optimism. While volunteer recruitment is currently on hold until sustainable revenue streams are established, the project welcomes donations to support its dedicated team. Plans for pre-seed funding are underway, with advisors strategizing to ensure the project's long-term success.
