What this means. Freedom. Freedom to program stories for a more enjoyable experience as well as having people that normally would not experience a category, now have a chance to participate.
Instead. the entire programming was based on a flow of story from beginning to end. ABOUT: The festivals mandate is, Honoring Stories Worth telling in 28 categories of classic & technology programming, and this year an unprecedented challenge occurred. The traditional block of screenings by genre or theme did not flow well for a great audience or content creator experience. Content for each day of the festival was programmed from the total. So, the audience is seeing stories unfold in a manner that take you on experiences with no bearing on which of the 28 categories they are a nominee.
