EV Works restores EV Miata

EV Works, market leader in green technology is relaunching its EV Miata brand. EV Miata was first launched 15 years ago and was first in the market to provide a kit to convert the first generation (NA) Mazda Miata to full electric drive. Interest in DIY electric cars waned as manufacturers entered the electric auto market, and EV Works put EV Miata on pause.

Today, as the shift to electric transportation gains acceptance, two opportunities have emerged:

1. Resurgence of interest in converting cars to electric by hobbyists
2. Lack of educational resources available for students to learn about electric vehicles

For these reasons, EV Works is restoring the EV Miata brand.

EV Work's EV Miata kit allows the builder to convert a first generation Mazda Miata to full electric drive. Plans for the award winning EV Miata kit can once again be purchased to allow the builder an affordable way to go electric. Both the Fabrication Diagrams (plans for fabrication the racks, brackets and mounts) and the Installation Guide (detailing the integration of components and these components to the Mazda Miata). It should also be noted that builders whose intentions deviate from the design of the EV Miata Kit, can still take advantage of the EV Miata Installation Guide as it details the integration of the electric components into the Mazda Miata.
