IDEENION Automobil AG announces the acquisition by Mobility Technology Group

GAIMERSHEIM, May 3, 2023 - Mobility Technology Group Inc. (MTG) has successfully acquired IDEENION Automobil AG as a wholly owned subsidiary. The new strategic partnership brings together global leaders in semiconductors, electronics, design, and engineering - to create the technologies that will power the mobility of tomorrow.

MTG is an independent mobility technology platform backed by Taiwanese technology companies Wistron Corporation, one of the globally leading ODMs on laptops, industrial PC and servers, with an annual revenue exceeding US$32 billion, and FIC Global Inc., which provides engineering and manufacturing services for Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers to market-leading automotive brands all over the world.

IDEENION is a mobility development company based in Germany with more than 30 years of experience in implementing cutting-edge technology. Under MTG ownership the company will further develop its design, engineering, and software capabilities, as the foundation of their engineering services outsourcing business for world-leading OEMs.

The acquisition will enable MTG to expand into new aspects of software and future mobility, particularly vehicle operations - an important step on its journey to becoming a leading global mobility technology company.

The acquisition was completed on February 23, 2023, after receiving all necessary regulatory approvals. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. As part of the agreement, IDEENION will operate as a subsidiary of MTG under its current brand name and leadership team.
