Famous Pacific Shipping adds household removal services in Indonesia

In Indonesia, the Famous Pacific Shipping Group (FPS) has launched a new subsidiary dedicated to household removal and personal relocation services.

Based at the PT. FPS Indonesia headquarters in Jakarta, PT. FPS Movers provides a fully integrated package of relocation services including pre-move surveys and advice, packing, storage and shipment. Also offered are personal services such as assistance with home and school searches, as well as orientation and familiarisation programmes in the destination country.

PT. FPS Movers is the first company within Famous Pacific Shipping’s global network to offer this niche cargo management service and will be working with FIDI and FAIM accredited agents.

Commenting on the development, Iskandar Zulkarnain, Chairman of PT. FPS Indonesia said: “Rapid economic development in Asia has seen a dramatic increase in the number of expats relocating throughout the region.

Famous Pacific Shipping’s global network now includes 43 individual companies, from 22 different nations worldwide, working together under the FPS banner. Whilst there are still a few gaps in the network, FPS offers global coverage and remains committed to recruiting additional members and adding to the portfolio of freight forwarding and cargo management services offered.
