Press release from: LightPointe

Berlin, Germany, and San Diego, CA, USA, December 16, 2014: LightPointe, a leading manufacturer of Gigabit capacity outdoor point-to-point wireless bridges, announced a special Customer Appreciation Two for One promotion which runs through the end of the year. Customers placing orders for LightPointe’s AireBridge Series will receive a free upgrade that includes both a laser bridge—for unsurpassed transmission speed and signal security—and a radio bridge for all-weather system redundancy and backup to ensure up to 99.999% availability.

“All of us at LightPointe would like to thank our customers for our best year ever by offering a limited time Customer Appreciation Two for One sale through December 31st,” said John Taylor, vice president of sales. “Our first, second, and fourth quarters broke all records thanks to strong sales of Free Space Optics wireless bridges, Ultra Low Latency 60 and 80 GHz backhaul radios, and our patented hybrid laser-RF bridges which automatically select the best transmission method for optimum performance. Customers ordering any wireless bridge in the AireBridge Series will receive a free upgrade which includes both the laser technology and RF technology, for optimum performance.”

Demand for wireless bridges has skyrocketed due to businesses, schools, and government agencies wanting to own their own networks and connect buildings without monthly fees—and due to the exponential growth in broadband usage from smartphones, iPads, Android tablets and other mobile devices.

LightPointe is a San Diego-based manufacturer of wireless Gigabit capacity bridges for enterprise and 4G/LTE carrier markets, including small cell backhaul. The company also manufactures a line of Ultra Low Latency (ULL) wireless bridges utilized for High Frequency Trading (HFT) networks, Data Centers, Data Warehousing, and Cloud Networks. The company is owned by a billion-dollar Silicon Valley firm and employees. LightPointe has representatives worldwide, including Germany, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Canada, China, Singapore, India, and Japan.
