Old Bridge - The Board of Fire Commissioners, Fire District 3, Township of Old Bridge,urgently seeks Per Diem and Volunteer firefighters to join us and provide fire protection for your fellow community members. With an unprecedented shortage of firefighters nationwide, our district needs your help now more than ever. Our district's mission is to provide fire protection to all citizens and property within our boundaries and to neighboring communities that request our assistance.

We are committed to providing the highest quality of services possible through incident response, public education, and fire code enforcement. Our firefighters receive extensive training and are equipped with the finest equipment to ensure they can serve our community safely and effectively. Our firefighters continually dedicate their time to protecting the community, and we need more people to join us in this critical endeavor.

We seek individuals willing to dedicate their time and energy to meet our goal. All applicants must pass a physical test and will receive certified training in basic First Aid, CPR/AED certification, and more. We offer Per-Diem firefighters a competitive hourly rate.

During their assigned shifts, firefighters will put out fires, facilitate rescue operations, aid in hazardous materials emergencies, administer medical care, and maintain all relevant equipment. Additionally, you will perform other related duties as needed. Firefighting can be a challenging but rewarding experience for everyone.

It can also be exciting if you're looking for a challenge or want to try something new and different. We are currently accepting applications from those interested in becoming a Per Diem or Volunteer Firefighter in Old Bridge, Fire District 3.
