With this release, Nikon Brazil becomes the first photographic equipment manufacturer to have a fully-featured South America online retail presence.
For the past several years Nikon had been working with its trusted systems integration partner arvato Systems North America to implement their US online stores.

The Nikon Brazil feature-rich scalable eCommerce solution will benefit from all future Nikon US developments. The site, based on the US platform’s functionality, has localizations for the Brazilian Portuguese language, currency, payment methods, and delivery conventions.
arvato customized and enhanced the instance for local service providers, government regulations, and the many nuances of doing business in Brazil. The company’s US and Uruguayan development teams worked with Nikon’s US and Brazilian teams to integrate with their local systems and processes. arvato worked closed with in-country personnel to adapt market behaviour and Nikon’s procedures to reflect and meet local business requirements.
