Presenting the power of topological proteomics at Biotechnica 2007
Highlight at their booth is the latest Toponome® Imaging Cycler® (TIC), a ultra high content analysis reader based on automated multidimensional fluorescence microscopy. “Recurring cycles of in situ fluorescence detection allow us to theoretically detect an unlimited number of epitopes”, says Sylke Nottelmann, project manager at meltec. “This is one of the great opportunities where you can see how our Toponome® Imaging Cycler® works and also meet our partners from SkinSysTec GmbH. They have developed a successful business model using our TIC robot”, added Sebastian Bartsch, project manager at meltec. Both Ms. Nottelmann and Mr. Bartsch will welcome you at the opening day at booth no. B17 in hall 8.
SkinSysTec GmbH offers a high content analytical service for dermatological applications. “We offer an efficient way to find outstanding dermatological biomarkers for drug development, clinical trial monitoring, and for diagnostic purposes” commends Olaf Stuhldreier, CEO at SkinSysTec GmbH, “We also support cosmetic companies to evaluate cosmetically active agents or skin models.”
Beside the booth, which is a good starting point, you can also join the “Innovation Forum” where Lars Philipsen, Senior Vice President Technology at meltec, will give a talk in Room Hamburg on Wednesday. “Skin is just one application of our technology. I will give you more insights and ideas how to use this multiplex assay development platform”, announces Lars Philipsen his presentation.
