The 4th Annual Medical Communications and the Dissemination of Healthcare Information Conference will be held February 26-27, 2015 in Boston, Massachusetts, providing attendees an opportunity to discuss the most updated guidelines and best practices within the industry. This year’s agenda offers exclusive insight to new regulations and rules, as well as perspective from editors and publishers on streamlining internal processes and mitigation strategies.

This year’s event brings together executive leaders from medical communications professionals from pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies, and focuses on idea sharing and networking. A variety of topics will be addressed, such as determining reportable transfer of value, updates on open payment reporting following first round submissions, and consistency in product inserts and supplemental compendia. More than two dozen speakers from all corners of the life science industry, including Kate Jones of Sanofi, GinaMarie Reckard of Astellas, and Geeta Devgan of Pfizer Oncology.

Back on the agenda this year by popular request is a special panel discussion that brings together editors and publishers who will offer a direct perspective on the importance of communication to relay deadline expectations to publication stakeholders and authors. Panelists include Devgan, Fran Young of Shire, Purvi Mody of Ariad Pharmaceuticals, Jennifer Almekinder of Merz, and Eric Crown of Abbvie.
