High speed, low cost – DataVard presents Near-Line Storage package

Heidelberg (Germany), November 4, 2014 – DataVard’s implementation service for the SAP® BW Near-Line Storage rapid-deployment solution has been qualified by SAP. The pre-configured solution combines two leading applications for sustainable data management at a fixed price: In addition to the SAP® IQ database DataVard implements Data Management Suite DataVard Outboard™. This combined solution is ideal for companies wishing to install the SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW) application or the SAP HANA® platform and optimize both performance and operating costs.

This implementation service for SAP BW Near-Line Storage rapid-deployment solution includes best practices and standardized implementation methods and services. The DataVard package comprises implementation of SAP IQ database software, near-line storage interface and DataVard Outboard™ features.

The SAP BW Near-Line Storage rapid-deployment solution offers customers the opportunity to reduce maintenance and downtime through a sleeker business warehouse, with quick access to historical data in near-line storage. DataVard consulting services help customers develop and implement a solid data archiving strategy, in line with their present and future requirements. Particularly SAP customers wishing to optimize their system performance and costs as well as keeping their data growth at bay, benefit from this package at a fixed price.
