GetSetUp is an online community of older adults who want to learn, connect with others, and unlock new life experiences.
Midvale, Utah: GetSetUp, a learning and discovery platform for older adults, is excited to announce the release of GetSetUp Kitchen: A Global Culinary Journey, a vibrant and colorful collection of recipes from around the world. Recipes in this collection were submitted by GetSetUp Learners, many of whom used the GetSetUp online learning platform to share their cooking traditions with our large and growing community.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, GetSetUp brought people together virtually from around the world to share recipes and inspire healthy cooking. Through these shared experiences, friendships were formed, and a sense of community was fostered. GetSetUp Kitchen: A Global Culinary Journey is a celebration of this togetherness and the power of food to bring people together, no matter the distance.
Featuring dishes from every corner of the globe, GetSetUp Kitchen: A Global Culinary Journey showcases the diversity and flavor of global cuisines. Each recipe is accompanied by the story of the home chef who created it, giving readers a glimpse into the lives and traditions of people from all walks of life.
GetSetUp Kitchen: A Global Culinary Journey features not only recipes and stories but also links to video tips and insights from the live virtual classes hosted by home chefs from around the world. These demonstration sessions were hosted from the chefs' homes so that other GetSetUp Learners could create the dishes in their homes with tips and techniques directly from the recipes' creators.
