The duo commented on the release: "During 2022 we focused primarily on honing a powerful live show and testing it on various audiences. "Killing Paul Allen" was born from the excitement and pride we felt from having played very well received shows, which pushed us to embrace our more eccentric and narcissistic personas. The track toys with the ideals of hypermasculinity and self-obsession portrayed by cult pop culture icons such as American Psycho's Patrick Bateman."
Music for Models was formed by Swedish producer ASNE and Italian songwriter Save The Kid in 2020. Their creative chemistry soon resulted in the energetic expression spanning across multiple genres, the latest of which can be heard on "Killing Paul Allen". The duo's style is defined by their artistic voice rather than genre constraints - with their latest single incorporating elements of punk, electronic and alternative music.
In "Killing Paul Allen", an in-your-face tone is set to introduce listeners to the duo's upcoming EP. The track is available to stream on all major platforms and can be purchased on SONO Music's official website.
