IFLA-Congress 2014 a complete success for NESCHEN
80th IFLA Congress in Lyon: NESCHEN AG presented their product portfolio for book protection and repair.
At the IFLA-Congress 2014 it was demonstrated again why NESCHEN enjoys the confidence of librarians in the field of book protection. This year's company motto '...worth conserving' hit exactly the nerve of many librarians. Thanks to the presentation of the specific NESCHEN portfolio in the area of book protection and repair there was a large number of interested visitors in France. NESCHEN convinced with its products filmolux soft and 609, filmoplast P90 and the transparent version filmoplast P as well as with the professional book laminating station BLS Professional and the tape dispenser TA3 - particularly also due to the fact that everybody could put hands on the products. The special CD-cleaning system for libraries from the filmolux product range in France was also of great interest for the visitors at the stand. Staff members from Bückeburg and France were available at the stand to give competent advice to the visitors.
And speaking of the stand: As usual not just the products demonstrated NESCHEN's knowhow, but also the stand's design and the set-up and dismantling of the stand. Putting up and removing posters and panels is very easy with the gudy Roller.dot or the gudy dot Tape. Contrary to the highly adherent double-sided adhesive tape or other solutions there is no residue and the materials remain intact and can be used again. This was reason enough for representatives of the Spanish National Library as well as for experts from other countries to have a closer look at the clever solutions and already got into contact with NESCHEN on the set-up days.
'The IFLA-Congress showed us again how much libraries and librarians appreciate our products. At events like this we are close to the users, hear about their needs and react', said Lars Woltermann, head of Corporate Marketing. 'Knowing to provide the right equipment for our customers' work will constantly improve our products.'
