DISTREE APAC 2014: Best in Show
Prior to the awards ceremony, the APAC Channel Academy is forming a regional VIP committee of retailer executives who will determine the list of five nominated vendors in each category. This independent body will include representatives from the region’s largest and most influential ICT & CE retailers.
Ashish Kapahi, Regional Director for DISTREE Asia Pacific, said: “These are channel awards that actually mean something with the nomination process and the final live vote decided by channel partners. We look forward to announcing the official nominations in September.”
The APAC Channel Academy has also included a Best in Show award for exhibitors at DISTREE APAC 2014. The event gives participating brands the chance to showcase their products and hold one-on-one meetings with senior channel executives. Channel delegates attending will be asked during the event to nominate the exhibitor that they believe is most deserving of the Best in Show award.
Farouk Hemraj, CEO at DISTREE Events, said: “We are proud to run the Channel Academy awards at DISTREE events around the world. The neutral and independent nature of these awards, coupled with the transparent live electronic voting process, ensures that they identify true channel excellence in each region.”
DISTREE APAC 2014 will offer a compelling combination of pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings, conference programme, exhibition, awards, new technology showcases and workshop sessions to deliver a comprehensive business development platform for both vendors and channel partners. DISTREE’s global events are far removed from traditional trade shows or exhibitions, offering a wide range of business benefits to all delegates.
