Klekovaca Tourist Center is the first Climatic Health Resort in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Klekovaca Tourist Center has been appointed the first state-approved Climatic Health Resort in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Klekovaca Tourism Center was awarded the predicate in the last cabinet meeting of the Government of Republika Sprkska in December 2022.
The predicate is a seal of quality for health resorts whose climate is a therapeutic one. The prerequisite for awarding the title of Climatic Health Resort is that the Klekovaca Tourist Center must meet highest quality standards. These include climate, air and water quality.
Already in July 2022, the Parliament of the Republic approved the development plan for the Klekovaca Mountain Village tourism project and declared it legally binding.

Amidst the breathtaking scenery of the Dinaric Alps on the territory of Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina near the town of Bosanski Petrovac, Mount Klekovaca majestically rises from untouched nature at an altitude of 1,962 mtrs. Surrounded by forests and adjacent to a strictly protected nature reserve, the Klekovaca Mountain Village is being built on a high plateau at an altitude of 1,200 mtr. The intention of the initiators of Klekovaca Mountain Village is sustainable tourism. Central to this is the idea that a place and its nature should be preserved for future generations. In this way, sustainable tourism can strengthen the regional economy and create jobs for locals. In addition, small, local providers are to be supported. This is the goal and aspiration of the investors.
