Daniel Sheehan Singled Out as One of Nation's Top Attorneys
DALLAS - In yet another professional honor, Dallas attorney Daniel Sheehan has joined the ranks of the Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America.Published four times annually, Lawdragon catalogs the best attorneys in the nation, and provides an online rating guide for lawyers. The Fall 2007 issue published in October will feature The 500 Leading Lawyers in America.
"Those of us who choose to do this kind of work aren't in it to win prizes or compliments," says Mr. Sheehan, founder of Dallas' Daniel Sheehan & Associates. "We do it to help people get justice and fair treatment in our system. But no one would deny that it is nice to be noticed by your peers."
Lawdragon emphasizes that the distinguished list represents fewer than .01 percent of all attorneys in the United States. To determine the 500 Leading Lawyers in America, Lawdragon reporters and editors conduct detailed research, including interviews with thousands of legal professionals and online balloting of attorneys. This is far from Mr. Sheehan's first professional award. In fact, it's his second year in a row to earn a spot among the Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America, and he was honored earlier this year as one of the Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiffs' Lawyers in America. Additionally, he has been recognized each of the past five years in the Texas Super Lawyer list published in Texas Monthly magazine.
Awards aside, Mr. Sheehan has earned repeated success in the courtroom. During the past five years alone, he has resolved seven major legal malpractice cases and collected more than $23 million for his clients. His business litigation experience includes more than a dozen seven-figure verdicts.
