Thomas Ulbrich New DataVard Head of Sales

Heidelberg (Germany), July 24, 2014 – Effective immediately, the software and consulting company DataVard announces Thomas Ulbrich new Head of Sales. His initial focuses are realigning the sales division and establishing a solid foundation for international growth particularly capitalizing on opportunities in its core US market.

Thomas Ulbrich has amassed a wealth of senior sales management experience in the IT industry. As Head of Sales D-A-CH at Netviewer AG, responsible for the buildup and management of the sales organization including development and implementation of the sales strategy, he played a significant role in the company’s rise to European market leader. After Citrix Online’s acquisition of Netviewer, Ulbrich led worldwide customer conversion from Netviewer to Citrix Online within the SaaS segment. Prior to this, he had held various sales positions such as at Hewlett-Packard and the Astaro AG, now Sophos. Collectively, Ulbrich possesses over 16 years of sales and management experience in the IT industry, thereof 10 plus years in the SaaS environment. He studied computer science, business administration and accounting at the University of Applied Science Lausitz.
