Politicians takes note of the rapidly rising export business of Bornemann Gewindetechnik GmbH & Co KG

On the 24th of June a delegation from the Lower Saxony Ministry for Economic Affairs and the Chamber of Trade visited the Bornemannn Gewindetechnik GmbH & Co KG in Delligsen, Germany to learn more about the rapidly growing export business of the company that specializes in the manufacturing of custom made threaded parts.
Several members of the parliament of Lower Saxony and the chairman of the Committee for Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport, Mrs Sabine Tippelt came to visit the company.
During the half-day visit, the delegation of 18 politicians and trade association members informed themselves in detail about the foreign activities of the company which now generates about 37 percent of their revenue in foreign countries.
"This is a huge leap we have realized in recent years. Overall, we were able to double the amount of revenue we generate abroad in only 3 years. Meanwhile, we export to more than 26 countries and are known worldwide for special threads and very long threads or large diameter, "says Moritz von Soden, Sales Manager and Deputy General Manager at Bornemann Gewindetechnik. The expansion in the international markets will continue to be a goal of the company in the future.
The Lower Saxony Ministry of Economic Affairs was represented by Secretary of State Ms. Daniele Behrens, Ulrich Petersen (Head of Department Mittelstand) and Gabriele Recker (Head of Unit Mittelstand). It was repeatedly stressed that the foreign activities of the company are exceptionally high and are a sign of an excellent positioning compared to similar companies in the metal working industry.
