09-26-2007 05:48 PM CET | Leisure, Entertainment, Miscellaneous

Press release from: SunDog

September 22, 2007 -- New Jersey band SunDog will debut their original songs on October 13 and 14 at the Windsor Farms annual Pumpkin Festival weekend in Windsor, NJ. SunDog is well known as a popular cover band throughout central New Jersey, but now they are ready to break out with their own original material that includes everything from rock and pop to country rock. From the country line dance inspired "Pretty Face" to the new-wave flavor of "My Baby Said Goodbye", SunDog has something for everyone.

SunDog's original songs are truly a group effort by these New Jersey natives. The songs are co-written by Debbie Sansanelli (vocals/guitar) and Chris Mayes (guitar/saxophone), and arranged by band members Billy Williams (vocals/bass guitar), Joe Rymer (vocals/guitar), and Phil Gambetta (vocals/drums). The CD will be released in early 2008 and may be pre-ordered at the festival. SunDog will be donating $1 from each CD pre-ordered over the festival weekend to the Make a Wish Foundation.

In addition to their original songs, SunDog will also be entertaining festival crowds with well-known favorites including early 60's doo-wop, classic rock, 80s rock, and country and southern rock.

The Pumpkin Festival takes place on Saturday, October 13 and Sunday, October 14 (weather permitting), 10:00AM til 5:00PM at Windsor Farms, 1202 Windsor Road, Windsor, NJ. The festival offers hayrides to the pumpkin patch, pony rides, moonwalk, face painting, refreshments, and much more. Adults $5, children under 12 free. Haunted hayrides begin at dusk.
