Frankfurt – September 2007 - Dancing on the Street

Once again it was September, once again there was something to celebrate, and KERN AG was at the centre of things. Leipziger Street held and celebrated its own street party.
Because it’s never fun to celebrate things alone, local firms and KERN AG decided to take part in this worthy celebration, to celebrate it together, and to congratulate each other.

Wide-eyed children, jubilant prize-winners and innumerable visitors, people interested in languages and others simply curious, came to our central office at Leipziger Street 51, on Saturday the 8th September.

Not only dream prizes – such as hotly coveted umbrellas or cups in the trendy KERN-design – enticed visitors to stay; it was much more about letting people know about the language services and language courses offered by KERN AG. Despite long queues and waiting lists, on Saturday language trainers at KERN invited people to experience the world of communication and to quench their thirst for languages immediately, with a taster course.
Those who couldn’t get enough could try their luck and win one of three single courses in our raffle. The winners have yet to be announced, but luck was certainly with us on Saturday.

Also in the raffle, 500 Info-maps, 2500 Info-flyers, 1000 participants’ cards, 3000 packs of Gummi-bears, 500 portions of popcorn, 200 cups, 300 baseball caps, 100 books, 100 umbrellas and 500 balloons were drawn, given away and shared out!

With the accompaniment of background music, various language offers and many laughing people, the sixth street party was a lively and colourful event, at which KERN AG and our co-workers will be taking part next year – certainly, “Languages bring people together”!
