MOST Cooperation Restructures Internet Appearance to Intensify the Public Dialog

Karlsruhe (Germany) - The new Internet appearance of the MOST Cooperation goes public offering more technology, corporate and member information as well as new dialog features within a clear and structured layout. The MOST Cooperation, the organization through which the leading automotive multimedia network Media Oriented Systems Transport (MOST) is standardized, has revised its website by optimizing the site navigation and content range in order to meet the growing public demand for infotainment information. By also adding a news and events section and providing the latest press releases the cooperation is further enhancing the dialog to interested parties, media representatives and analysts. A clearly arranged overview of the individual member companies with links to their websites presents the constitution of the MOST Cooperation and as such making it transparent to the public.

MOST Cooperation keeps up the information flow

With the revised communications platform the MOST Cooperation offers additional information and several new dialog channels. For in depth information all interested parties cannot only download presentations but also directly contact the cooperation administrator. As a means of regular updates for the public the MOST Cooperation will introduce a downloadable newsletter starting in October. The inclusion into the mailing list is one click away from the homepage. All interested parties are welcome to subscribe to the newsletter. A feature for journalists and editors is the newly added media list for which they are welcome to add their email address however they can also directly get in touch with the press contact.

MOST Specifications and Applications

A deeper understanding of the MOST Technology and the features and structure of this efficient and cost-effective multiplex network is provided in the Technology section. In order to also give a practical insight in the use of MOST several applications of transmitting audio, video, data, and control content are introduced. The download area even offers several specifications and guidelines to anyone interested.

About the MOST Cooperation

The MOST Cooperation is the organization through which MOST Technology is standardized and refined so that it continues to stay abreast of the latest industry requirements. Today it consists of 15 international carmakers and more than 70 key component suppliers. They have joined together to work with the MOST Technology and to contribute to its innovation. At first a specification for infotainment data transfer in cars, the network is now also implemented in consumer electronics applications. The MOST Cooperation is prepared to embrace efforts to further develop and standardize the technology for other industries and to establish the corresponding work structures. The MOST Cooperation was founded in 1998 by BMW, DaimlerChrysler, Harman Becker and OASIS SiliconSystems (now part of SMSC). Audi joined its Steering Committee in 2000. For more information see
