In addition, the test centre offers a wide range of heat treatments and possibilities for shaping castings into wire, flat wire or ribbon. At the customer’s request, the company will profile materials in terms of their electrical, mechanical and metallographic features. The test centre, which is fitted with high-quality equipment for analytical testing, enhances the company’s profile as a specialist for non-ferrous metal alloys. Isabellenhütte Heusler also operates its own calibration laboratory, which has been accredited by Deutscher Kalibrierdienst (DKD) in accordance with EN17025.
Isabellenhütte Heusler GmbH & Co. KG has been owned by the Heusler family since 1827. With its resistance and thermoelectric alloys, the company lives up to the high quality standards of electronics and sets itself apart through custom solutions tailored to fit customers’ needs. Other business units are dedicated to the production of precision and power resistors, while the measurement technology designed by Isabellenhütte is considered to lead the field in shunt-based current measuring systems. The company developed the Manganin alloy, which is based on copper and manganese, in 1889. To this day, it remains the state of the art for high-precision resistance alloys.
