sony/bmg signs legendary music artist tommy james
ed, osborne, vice-president of A&R and Special Markets for the aura entertainment group, announces the signing of rock legend tommy james to sony/bmg's custom marketing group in a deal negotiated by special markets consultant john lappen.the artist's first releases under the deal will be a greatest hits "Live At The Bitter End" DVD and an accompanying CD to be released in the united states this october.

tommy is currently recording his first christmas album - which includes three original tunes and new arrangements of traditional carols and popular standards. he is also negotiating a deal for a movie based on his autobiography, Crimson & Clover.
James owns aura entertainment group, Inc. a full service company headed up by industry veterans positioned to take advantage of opportunities in the emerging digital era of the new music business.
