Software for digital printing - dots publishes updates with lots of new features

As of today dots Software publishes updates of three software products for digital printing:

Overview of new features

The solution for central printing - Printgroove JT Man
All order data are saved to a SQLite database in the new version 5.4. Customers can access the database directly with an ODBC driver and create statistics and queries with third party tools like Microsoft Excel. The same feature is implemented in our product Printgroove JT Suite (see below).
In addition JT Man gained a significant performance boost when printing large jobs (with, say, 20.000 pages).
Such substantial print files are not only imported in a fast manner now. They are also comfortably edited and send to the printer quickly.

Web-to-Print - Printgroove JT Web
The feature standing out in version 5.4 is the further integration of configurable email notifications. These are now available for the entire approval process, for status updates to customers concerning their orders and for the print operator when new orders arrive.
In addition max file size for documents is now checked prior to not while uploading. Small change with big usability improvement.

The complete print workflow - Printgroove JT Suite
The JT Suite connects both above mentioned applications and provides a comprehensive workflow from handling incoming data over processing the orders up to printing the products. This creates a high potential for automation of repetitive tasks.

Version 5.4 features a new option, available for purchase from today: The JT LADP Connector allowing for the connection to different Active Directories via LDAP to utilize existing user data in the web shop. This means users can now login without prior registration. Adress data is automatically updated with every login.
