bitop is exhibitor at the in-cosmetics

At this year’s in-cosmetics show, taking place on April 1-3 in Hamburg, Germany, the cosmetics department of the extremolyte specialist bitop will showcase for the first time its product portfolio at booth 1K50.

Focus of the exhibition at the in-cosmetics is the presentation of bitop’s broad extremolyte product portfolio – including the well-known Ectoin® - but also of new ingredients with innovative properties.

Innovative ingredients that fulfil customer demands

New and innovative ingredients for cosmetic products are few and far between. Such that fulfil the demands of end-consumers can almost not be found. Glycoin® natural – the cell energizer

Glycoin® natural is biocatalytically processed glyceryl glucoside dissolved in water. Glycoin® natural revitalizes cells and reactivates cell metabolism. Thus, cell viability is stimulated and cell regeneration is accelerated. These properties result in an improvement of the skin functions and regeneration of the skin. Moreover, Glycoin® natural increases the occurrence of natural antioxidants as e.g. superoxide dismutase (SOD) and strengthens the natural self-defense system of the skin. Products that can help to avoid skin aging caused by air pollutants such as particulate matter or cigarette smoke can hardly be found. 28Extremoin® is one of the first active cosmetic ingredients that protects the skin against damage due to air pollution and their visible results such as hyperpigmentation, wrinkle formation or irritation of the skin. 28Extremoin® reduces significantly the expression of genes such as MMP-1 und POMC that are stimulated by particulate matter.

Ectoin® – the ultimative active

Ectoin® is an established cosmetic active ingredient with excellent properties in the fields of anti-aging and cell protection. It supports the optical rejuvenation of the skin by reducing wrinkles, increasing the skin elasticity, and replenishing moisture that was lost over the time. Moreover, Ectoin® stabilizes the skin barrier and protects skin cells against external influences such as UV-A and UV-B radiation or visible light and combats premature skin ageing. Ectoin® strengthens the skin’s own immune system, soothes and smoothes the skin.

High tolerability

All products of bitop’s portfolio have a very good safety profile. The modes of action are well understood and their properties were supported by a remarkably broad and deep documentation.
