Catalina Church uses TripleHead2Go external multi-monitor adapter to revitalize its stage and enhance audience engagement

MONTREAL — March 13, 2014 — Matrox® Graphics Inc. today announced that Tucson-based Catalina Church created its new visually-stunning triple-projector setup using a Matrox TripleHead2Go external multi-monitor adapter. Sound and visual technology experts CCI Solutions recommended the low-cost, easy-to-use multi-monitor solution to drive dynamic, inspirational content across the three-screen-configuration, resulting in a revitalized stage design that has enhanced worship engagement.

Already familiar with TripleHead2Go for other house of worship installations, CCI Solutions connected the adapter to an Apple® iMac desktop computer to support three Christie® projectors. Featuring a compact black box design, TripleHead2Go easily connects to iMac computers via the Thunderbolt™, Mini DisplayPort™, or Mini DVI video output—depending on the model—without a need to open up the system. The installed RenewedVision™ ProPresenter® lyric and media presentation software meanwhile permits church staff to easily manage video and graphics on the screens, which can serve as a decorative design element, complementary showpiece for musical performances, or even an enlarged reading surface for lyrics or text.

“Visually our space used to have no focus and getting people to engage in worship was a challenge,” said Brian O’Morrow, worship pastor at Catalina Church. “Not only does our triple-screen system look amazing, it is super simple for our volunteers to use and helps us create the engaging, interactive experience we were hoping for.”
