Eleven McKool Smith Attorneys Honored Among Best in Texas
DALLAS - Eleven attorneys from the Dallas, Austin and Marshall, Texas, offices of McKool Smith have earned spots on the 2007 Texas Super Lawyers list, as determined by a statewide survey published in the October issue of Texas Monthly magazine.Two attorneys from the firm received special recognition, with firm founder Mike McKool Jr. being selected as one of the Top 100 lawyers in Texas, and Samuel F. Baxter earning the designation as one of the Top 100 in Dallas-Fort Worth.

To compile the Super Lawyers list, more than 70,000 attorneys from across the state were asked to nominate the top lawyers in Texas. A blue-ribbon panel of attorneys chosen by Super Lawyers editors assisted in the final selections, and less than 5 percent of Texas attorneys were named to the list.
The Super Lawyers list appears in the October 2007 issue of Texas Monthly magazine and in Texas Super Lawyers magazine, a publication co-produced by the publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Media Inc.
