IP-DECT for Siemens HiPath and Asterisk
ikon announces the release of the IP-DECT System for Siemens HiPath 2000 Family und for Asterisk IP-PBXs.ikon offers Base Stations with Ethernet Interface for the extension of PBXs with cordless telephony according to the proven DECT standard for a very reasonable price.
The IP-DECT System supports mainly Gigaset handsets out of the huge product variety of the market leader Siemens.
In addition DECT handsets complying to the GAP standard may be used.
Supplementary services which are necessary in a professional environment resp. make the handling of the system very comfortable are supported by the IP-DECT Interworking Unit. These are e.g. a very fast seamless handover between Base Stations or the unique sytem wide registration of the handsets.
The DECT handsets look like standard SIP phones for the PBX. They are e.g. able to display the Calling Party Number for incoming calls, toggling or transferring calls.
The release of the IP-DECT System for other PBXs based on the SIP standard is in preparation.
The IP-DECT System can be obtained from several partners or directly from ikon. Dealer requests are welcome!
