Efficient Network Diagnostics for Maintenance

New release of the diagnosis solution TH SCOPE and TH LINK for
PROFINET and PROFIBUS now available

Schwerin, January 13, 2014 - Trebing + Himstedt, international supplier of products and services for the optimal use of IT in the production environment, is now releasing new versions of the proven network diagnosis solutions TH SCOPE and TH LINK. These releases feature new functions for the diagnosis of PROFINET and PROFIBUS networks, which make the commissioning and maintenance of production systems even more efficient.

The graphical topology of a PROFINET automation network can now be quickly and easily documented and archived as a PDF-printout. With this, the diagnostic software TH SCOPE makes the structure of large device networks visible in a graphic readout and provides a fast and current overview of all devices installed in the network, including IP addresses, bandwidth information and firmware versions.
With the new release, Trebing + Himstedt also goes a step further in the direction of networked production systems. The new version of TH SCOPE now provides information on production network status (PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP or Modbus) through the SNMP technology standard. With this, overlapping IT systems or monitoring tools can easily be integrated. Work processes, for example between maintenance and IT department, can be automated more efficiently, and possible system malfunctions quickly identified and eliminated.

The monitoring of industrial Ethernet networks is easier with the new version of TH LINK. It improves the diagnostic user interface, particularly for temporary assignments, for example during the acceptance of a PROFINET network.
