The VISTAGRAM is a still and shifting, silent, and moving art installation. And as it progresses, what you see around you moves. It places fragments of your surroundings next to each other in synchronicity. This juxtaposition brings a flurry of imagination: vistas of the busy, bustling bazaar pop up next to vistas of a flock of birds as they scurry through the sky. The kinetic collage becomes a kaleidoscope of the things around us, catching the eye of the onlooker, who then stops and stares at the visual medley. This delusion becomes a matter of personal engagement; every step closer changes the medley.
Today our lives are busy, and entertainment comes in quanta of 15-second reels. We have learned to plan our days well. But we forget about the happiness that dwells in moments we can't plan to the minutest detail.
The streets are full of stories, but we lack time to hear them, for we constantly have places to be. Our phones keep us busy, and we have no time to look up!
That's what the VISTAGRAM does; through a series of kinetic movements and reflections, the installation shakes up and shuffles visuals of the everyday, allowing the users to see the world differently, with every step displaying a vista of shuffled sights and vaunted views.
