InstaWerk's Online Price Calculation of CNC Milled and CNC Turned Parts
CNC components are usually designed and optimized by design engineers for a specific application. Unlike stock items or standard parts, they are therefore individual, "engineered products".
Up to now, the production of these components has been time-consuming and costly. InstaWerk bundles the manufacturing capacities of over 4,000 milling machines via its manufacturing platform and makes them available to its customers via a website with instant quoting functionality.
Buyers and designers can thus upload the CAD model of their component and receive a price in just a few seconds. A wide range of alloys and post-treatments are available.
This service is used by leading companies in Germany to increase the resilience of their supply chain, save costs and accelerate their development. Since the beginning of November, this service is now also available to international customers at www.instawerk.com. InstaWerk is thus making a significant contribution to the security of supply of international mechanical engineering companies in the current crisis situation.
