ENSOGOV leading ESG Data, Tech and Consulting Space

ENSOGOV's ambition is to build global data sets across 77 industries and an AI-based technology pre-configured for each sector to conduct materiality assessment and offer relevant interventions. The system would be able to provide project tracking, data capturing, benchmarking against industry and/or targets and produce sustainability reports based on multiple global reporting standards and frameworks.

ENSOGOV, launched in 2022 at Deputy British High Commission, Karachi, continues evolving as a leading ESG data, technology and consulting company. Started in stealth mode in 2020 as a joint initiative by SEED Venture and Matriarch Ventures to simplify the ESG journey for businesses and their value chain has now expanded its partner network, including UNGC networks, PRI, World Benchmark Alliance, standard setter, several global forums and recently added Excellence Delivered in October 2022. An event was held in October at Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore, Pakistan. It was attended by high-profile leaders from the Pakistani business community and ENSOGOV's Directors and shareholders, Mr Jonathan Freeman, Mr Sajjeed Aslam, Ms Shaista Ayesha and Ms Qudsia Sajjeed. It unveiled the ENSOGOV plans and urgency to tackle climate change.

ENSOGOV has prioritised eight critical sectors for 2023 that have the maximum impact on GHG emissions, including buildings & infrastructure, hospitality, oil & gas, transportation, banking, agriculture, textiles, and pharma. Buildings are a source of 38% of CO2 emissions. To achieve the net-zero target by 2050, 5% of the global stock of buildings needs renovation yearly, in addition to new projects that must consider sustainable designs.

ENSOGOV believe it is not enough for a single entity to work in isolation and create inward-looking interventions. The entire value chain of business has to adopt the ESG and sustainability framework to make it work for one single entity, which creates the network effect of adoption. ENSOGOV data, technology, priority sprint model and support make it simple and affordable, driving adoption across functions and upstream and downstream partners at pace.

It is a cloud-native, DGPR-compliant and scalable solution which can also help institutional investors evaluate ESG risks and opportunities for investment decisions and track the real-time progress of investees on ESG metrics.

Currently, no single solution works across all the ESG metrics on multiple standards and frameworks, propose interventions based on ESG benchmarks/targets and provides dashboards to monitor progress from the functional level to the board level.
