HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung has let the MAXIII office building in the heart of old Munich ahead of construction. The international legal firm of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer will use the entire 5,500 square meters of office and storage space. The seven-story building at Maximiliansplatz 13 is due for completion in mid-2015.
MAXIII is to be built on a lot abutting the street, and will form the southeast end of Maximiliansplatz. The six floors above will contain office space which can be divided on request. The uppermost level will have a sloping roof and a roof terrace. The in-house underground parking garage will provide space for ten cars. MAXIII has already received Silver precertification from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen e.V. (the German Sustainable Building Council).
