GTRE-Rig will be Highlight at ASME Gas-Turbine India Conference

Presentation of German-Indian collaboration of AneCom AeroTest and GTRE

AneCom AeroTest and Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE) will announce their collaboration at the ASME Gas-Turbine Conference in Bangalore, India. Amongst other things they will show the GTRE-rig that has been tested since 2006 at AneCom AeroTest in Germany.

During the time that both companies have worked in collaboration, several test projects have been accomplished successfully. On the whole, the performance of the rig was tested for 190 hours, partly up to twelve hours net testing time with 2-shift system per day. In each of the four phases, all subprojects whether design, instrumentation, assembly and test or the test data transfer to GTRE in realtime were completed.

The German-Indian collaboration and the rig itself will be presented at the ASME in India. The conference takes place on 5th and 6th of December in the CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories in Bangalore and will provide the opportunity to interact with experts in the gas turbine industry, as well as find out the latest methods and cutting-edge technology that can improve how gas turbines operate in the future.
