Moers, 15. November 2013. TECTUS expert company for RFID and Industrial and Ex-certified NFC launched the NFC APP for Android because of increased demand from a lot of customers. This DEMO NFC App enables users to learn details about NFC stickers, NFC transponders (TAGs). By scanning the NFC TAG information about chip-type (IC), chip-manufacturer, chip UID, Data Exchange- (ISO-DEP) Protocol, NFC Forum Tag Type, Data Exchange- Format (NDEF), memory size and memory content is shown and can be sent by the SHARE function to other users.
The NFC (Near Field Communication) technology is a subset of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology. It operates at HF High Frequency 13.56 MHz.
The base of NFC is the Mifare™ technology acc. to ISO14443 developed by Mikron Austria in about 1995. NFC was created and developed in about 2002 by Philips and Sony. It is nowadays a modern more and more common used technology mainly used for contactless payment operations. For other applications like industrial maintenance, inventory and inspection operations NFC can give benefits to process working steps and it’s documentation in real time.
TECTUS Transponder Technology is specialized on industrial applications and offers NFC stickers and NFC transponders. Likewise Ex certified NFC TAGs to be used in hazardous area are offered.
