Cubic Telecom Appoints Sean O'Mahony as Chief Commercial Officer
Sean O'Mahony, Cubic Telecom's new Chief Commerical Officer
A veteran of many successful startup companies over the last 10 years, Sean O'Mahony moves to Cubic after a successful period leading the mobile development team for the Silicon Valley startup, JAJAH, and was previously CEO of Excilan in Luxembourg. He was the founder and CEO of FatPort (Canada’s largest WiFi hotspot operator), Bitmovers and BOPJET. Sean is also an experienced public speaker, having participated in and moderated many telecommunications conferences.
He joins Cubic at an exciting juncture, just ahead of the launch of the Company’s new portfolio of products and services that are aimed at drastically reducing international mobile roaming and call charges.
Pat Phelan, CEO of Cubic Telecom, welcomed the appointment, saying “I’m delighted that we’ve managed to attract someone of Sean’s stature to our company. Sean will give a substantial boost to our international sales and partnerships drive, and brings a great deal of experience from other startups to the mix.”
