Scope

Scope e-Knowledge Center (Scope), a leading provider of content enhancement and knowledge services, has extended its partnership with ASTM to provide e-learning support materials for ASTM’s e-learning programs. Scope’s smart content team, with its rich experience in developing technical notes for various domains, has created the e-learning support materials encompassing checklists, data sheets, and procedures for their training courses.

As part of this extended partnership, Scope provided ASTM with the support materials for their testing standards on soil, cement, petroleum & asphalt and concrete. In the e-learning support materials, Scope’s SMEs analyzed various e-learning training content and created the checklists that would augment the videos of the testing procedure. Further, Scope’s team created data sheets with details on data to be captured and a sample calculation to help the user in arriving at the test results.

While commenting on the project success, David von Glahn, Director -- Training and E-Learning at ASTM, said, “Working with Scope throughout this project has been a good experience. Through this collaborative effort, we could easily develop our required content.”

Tram Venkatraman, President of Scope, commented, “Scope is happy to extend its service offerings to ASTM for developing e-learning modules. With over eight years of experience in creating technical abstracts from engineering patents covering various technical domains, we could precisely deliver ASTM’s requirements. We look forward to widen our project on other domains of ASTM.”

“It has always been rewarding to work with ASTM,” said M.A. Eswaran, Senior Vice President of Scope. “This assignment is yet another opportunity to prove Scope’s expertise and capability in successfully executing high-value content services,” he added.
