Cooked by Moms is a social enterprise that has been working with Mahila Mandals and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in Mumbai since 2018. They empower underprivileged women communities by leveraging their existing cooking skills and has brought 20,000+ home-cooked meals to corporate audiences through over 100+ events and pop-ups.

Their latest initiative, #BoxesOfGoodness brings you carefully curated gift hampers championing

These are not just thoughtful gift hampers, but also meaningful ones. They are gifts that give back!

The proceeds from #BoxesOfGoodness go back into the training and upskilling of underprivileged women communities at Cooked by Moms.

"During my work in the non-profit sector, companies and people have often reached out, especially during festive season, to find ways to give back to underprivileged communities, through gifting or giving. With gifting, however, mostly quality, inability to service bulk orders, variety and aesthetics often prevented them from doing so. #BoxesOfGoodness fills this need gap by providing a high quality, curated, meaningful gifting experience for clients, while helping socially responsible brands build their business and reach a wider audience," shares Namrata Tanna, Founder, Cooked by Moms.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER, NAMRATA TANNA:
Namrata Tanna is a former television journalist who switched over 10 years ago to the social sector to use her journalism skills to create social impact.
Over the last decade, she has worked with several Mumbai-based non-profits through an initiative co-founded by her - Creatives against Poverty - and through full time roles with NGOs - Concern India Foundation and iVolunteer. She also plays the role of advisor to several NGOs and companies with regards to their CSR activities.

With Cooked by Moms, Namrata brings together her vast experience in the social development space to create a sustainable initiative that tackles one of our most pressing societal issues today - that of creating both economic and social empowerment of women.
