Innovative HPC-in-the-Cloud Service for China Enabled by Bright Cluster Manager

BingoCloud delivers mission critical IaaS to the Chinese government and enterprises

Bright Computing, the leading, vendor-independent provider of management solutions for clusters and clouds, announced today that Bright Cluster Manager has been deployed into production by Bingo Software Co., Ltd. (BingoSoft) of Guangzhou, China to deliver HPC services for its Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud platform BingoCloud. Bright enables the provisioning, monitoring, and management of HPC clusters, as well as the extension of these clusters into private clouds, all within BingoCloud.

With local support from Bright Computing partner Paratera, Bright Cluster Manager has been accelerating deployment and easing management of HPC services within BingoCloud for a few months now. In this initial stage, BingoCloud users work directly with the GUI provided by Bright. In the next stage however, use will be made of the Bright API so that the result is localized for the Chinese marketplace.
