The scratch- and shock-proof melamine covering seals the floor as moisture barrier. Wooden core and insulating material are preserved, which significantly inreases their durability. Compared to the use of Aluminum, the synthetic material trumps with clear advantages: it is environmentally friendlier, the surface is more consistent and it is cheaper to produce. The melamine coating can be used between the floor panel and any other covering or, depending on the application, directly as the floor covering.

Using a melamine coating drastically expands the longevity and the range of applications of the construction material.
