PGCS webinar: Matthew Benn shares the Keys to SIC & AIC Success - Successful Industry Engagement

Matthew Benn was invited to deliver a webinar at the Program and Project Management Symposium (PGCS), scheduled for the 22nd of June 2022.

The idea was, "they need to understand what industry thinks and how they could more effectively engage with industry". So, the topic chosen for delivery was "Successful Industry Engagement - the Key to SIC & AIC Success."

Matthew's webinar was a part of a series of PGCS monthly one-hour webinars delivered by different industry participants for the benefit of participants in the PGCS events, which are often managers from Defence Prime contractors, CASG, and other Government departments who are also Program and Project Management professionals within the Defence industry community.

Participants from around Australia logged in to gain actionable insights on how to engage more successfully with potential Defence Contractors and those already in the supply chain.

Matthew, the Managing Partner at Alongside Business Consulting, shared his wisdom and experiences on -

- What industry needs and wants
- What Defence & Government can do to help
- The current results from the industry in relation to SIC and AIC

These monthly sessions featured/feature well known and knowledgeable speakers from the International and domestic Defence industries while covering pertinent project management and project control subjects for further professional development.

During sessions, attendees participated in a live, written Q&A with presenters and a discussion forum with other attendees.

The PGCS extended the webinar series to the "whole of Government" with the permission of the CASG Assistant Secretary of Program Management, Mr Stephen McDonald.

We're glad to share with you that the webinar Matthew delivered amongst all to date this year was one of the most well received, attended and viewed after the fact.

This is a great testament to how valuable the content is and training sessions are regularly delivered by Matthew and his team at Alongside Business Consulting.
