The world’s cumulative capacity is capable of producing as much annual electrical energy as 16 coal power plants or nuclear reactors of 1 GW each and every year these installations save more than 53 million tons of CO2 according to the EPIA Global Market Outlook for Photovoltaics 2013-2017.

Intensive evolution of solar technologies determinate the emergence of the 'prosumers' = (producer + consumer). The consumers will become energy producers which will optimize their direct consumption ratio and the cost of electricity transmission. Experts identify this market segment as the future of photovoltaics.

South-Europe has a very good solar potential and contribute significantly to the global energy system transformation.

The SEE Solar Exhibition is one of the prominent b2b events is the Region devoted to solar PV and thermal technologies.
