A burgeoning generation of determined and ambitious women eagerly packed into Center548 this weekend, in gathering of the fourth annual WIE Symposium, Women: Inspiration & Enterprise. The 2-day seminar is a yearly leadership conference designed to empower and inspire emerging leaders to emanate greatness and shatter glass ceilings.

One of the music industry’s most coveted and prolific sound engineers, Marcella Araica, passionately shared her expertise and experience during the ‘Breaking The Rules’ panel, discussing how her mounting accolades and tireless dedication to her craft has allowed her to pioneer the field of engineering by overcoming obstacles, defeating all odds and carving a lane all her own in a male dominated business.

Marcella joined a distinguished panel that included, renowned journalist, author and talk show host, Katie Couric, super model and fashion icon, Tyra Banks, executive board member and brand ambassador of Swarovski Crystals, Nadja Swarovski, speaker of the New York City Council, Christine Quinn, and health & wellness expert Tracy Anderson- all women who lead a life of symbolic achievements.
