CDZEN ENTERTAINMENT BRINGS ANTI-BULLYING YOUTH RALLY TO NYC FOR NATIONAL BULLYING PREVENTION MONTH

New York, NY - September 23, 2013 - CDzen Entertainment in partnership with the New York City Mission Society’s Teen ACTION program will host an anti-bullying youth rally featuring “Chase Your Dreams Wearing Sneakers: The Musical”, a one-woman youth motivational musical and anti-bullying workshop composed, written and performed by Christina Dzenyuy for students in grades 4 through 12.

This event is an opportunity to engage youth using the performing arts as a teaching tool to empower and uplift students to overcome the pervasive bullying that they face today. “Chase Your Dreams Wearing Sneakers: The Musical” is CDzen Entertainment's first theatrical production and is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization.

In an official written statement, Dannel P. Malloy, Governor of the State of Connecticut, recognized Ms. Dzenyuy as a playwright and leader in anti-bullying arts education, Governor Malloy states “Chase Your Dreams Wearing Sneakers: The Musical and the corresponding anti-bullying workshop address an important problem facing our nation. I applaud your leadership and dedication on this issue and your work with young people.”

Youth from various community-based organizations will be at the rally to wrap up National Bullying Prevention Month on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 4:00PM to 6:30PM at Minisink Townhouse, located at 646 Malcolm X Boulevard, New York, NY.
