Press release from: Colibrys Ltd

With the strong support of Colibrys, SBG Systems presents a brand new range of AHRS and Inertial Navigation Systems called Ekinox Series.

Neuchâtel, Switzerland, September 21, 2013 -- With the strong support of Colibrys, SBG Systems presents a brand new range of AHRS and Inertial Navigation Systems called Ekinox Series. Integrating Colibrys accelerometers, the Ekinox Series brings robust and cost-effective MEMS sensors to the Tactical Grade.

At 0.05° attitude and 2 cm position, the Ekinox series offers outstanding performance in a compact and cost- effective packaging. In inertial navigation, selection of accelerometers is as important as gyroscopes to achieve such high precision. “We studied a lot of components and we selected Colibrys accelerometers for their advanced performance, their quality and the guaranteed specifications. These accelerometers show very low residual error”, declares Raphaël Siryani, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer of SBG SYSTEMS.

Colibrys made the integration phase easy and fast. “Their accelerometers are straightforward to integrate and during the whole integration phase, we have been able to count on Colibrys and its team which was available, conscientious, and very professional. We consider them as a close partners”, Mr. Siryani to add.

Colibrys MEMS accelerometers are the ideal candidates for such applications, where performance has to meet systematically stringent requirements.

“Colibrys is proud to be part of this success story and to contribute actively to the success of SBG SYSTEMS. Through this positive example, Colibrys confirms once more its position as independent world leading supplier of advanced MEMS accelerometers” says Mr. Bahram Arbab, new VP Global Sales for Colibrys.

Colibrys will be present at AUVSI’s Unmanned Systems 2013, held in Washington, DC from 12-15 August (Safran USA/Booth # 2535) and at MAKS, held at Moscow, 26-30 August - with participation of our Russian distributors Aviton booth #C1-6, Radiant booth #D10-33.
