CNC Training and Certification program for a competitive career in CNC Milling and Turning
Featuring streamlined navigation and a clean user-friendly design, the website provides in-depth information about the school, curriculum, program objectives, class schedules and admission requirements. The site encourages communications through its blog, news section and social media links.
“We are very pleased to present a website that functions as a value-added resource for prospective students as well as existing students,” said Melinda Keway, Director of Epic CNC Training Academy. “The site allows us to be fully transparent in defining eligibility for admission, requirements for completing the CNC Training and Certification program and the quality standards Epic CNC Training Academy offers.”
The website’s top bar navigation contains six options: Home, About, Curriculum, News, Blog and Contact through which visitors can learn about Epic Training Academy’s structure, upcoming sessions and class schedules, direction for completing and submitting application materials, and the academic and training environment. These pages increase transparency through page-specific sidebar navigation options. For example, the About page sidebar includes a link to Staff Bios.
“Our instructors are outstanding! They each have more than 20 years’ experience working in the industry and have a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience that they are eager to share with the next generation,” Keway said. “Creating a web page dedicated to staff bios offers visitors a true feel for the level of expertise, quality and value-added benefits our instructors offer.”
The site’s home page presents a snapshot of Epic CNC Training Academy’s statement of purpose and program specifications supported by sidebar navigation and links to external resources to facilitate students in fulfilling application requirements. For example, a link to Michigan Works! for scheduling required WorkKeys Skill Assessment tests. Sidebar navigation tools consistent throughout the site include Assessment Test, Application, Curriculum and Program Brochure.

In terms of versatility, the website provides directions for applying online or through standard mail. Students can complete the application process directly online or, if preferred, download and mail the completed application and supporting materials to Epic CNC Training Academy’s admissions department.

Epic CNC Training Academy: CNC Training and Certification Program
CNC (computer numerical control) operators produce machined parts to quality and safety standards by programming, setting up and operating a CNC machine. The ongoing transition to Computer-Numerical-Controlled equipment has created a real demand for highly trained, certified CNC Machinists.
Epic CNC Training Academy’s program “empowers students with job-ready, CNC machining skills through education and focused, hands-on training preparing them for a competitive career in CNC Milling and Turning,” Keway said.
Epic CNC Training Academy sessions are 8-weeks long held Monday – Friday, 7AM – 3:30PM in a professional, hands-on learning environment. Upon admission, students receive a toolbox of standard equipment, a copy of the Machinist Ready-Reference Handbook and are assigned to a professional CNC machine used to machine products to industry standard quality and safety specifications as defined by the manufacturing industry.
“From industry standard process procedures and machining instruction, to providing expert advice and tricks of the trade, Epic CNC Training Academy offers the most comprehensive CNC training and certification program available,” Keway said. “All of our instructors are professional CNC machinists and programmers with diverse skills, industry knowledge and on-the-job experiences.”
Students who fulfill all program requirements will receive a certificate of completion, detailed performance summary and job placement assistance.
