Press release from: PRMG

On September 13, Lawrence Davidow, Managing Partner, Davidow, Davidow, Siegel & Stern, LLP, presented Mary Ann Malack-Ragona, Executive Director, Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center, Inc., with a $5,000 check. ADRC received the money as the winner of Phase II of the law firm’s “Century of Giving” promotion.

The Century of Giving initiative was created by the Law Firm of Davidow, Davidow, Siegel & Stern to celebrate the law firm’s centennial on Long Island. The firm designed a philanthropic celebration that publicly recognizes non-profits that mirror the firm’s mission: serving seniors and special-needs populations. The promotion depends on the participation of voters to decide which organizations will be awarded $5,000 each.

Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center — which is headquartered in Bay Shore and has a satellite office in Southampton — is the only local Alzheimer’s Disease advocacy and educational facility whose mission is to provide hands-on support and services to families on Long Island and the New York metropolitan area. ADRC works with family members, health care professionals and researchers to ensure quality health care and support to those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease through care and consultation, information and referral, training, support groups, and caregiver safety products.

For more information, please call Mary Ann Malack-Ragona, Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer, at (631) 820-8068 or visit www.adrcinc.org.
