Fan documentary celebrating James Bond's 60th anniversary to be released October 05, 2022
Director Benjamin Lind in "James Bond at 60"
It was in 1962 that James Bond made his debut on the big screen. At that time, Sean Connery slipped into the tuxedo and started the spy craze of the 1960s with "Dr. No". Actors such as Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan and most recently Daniel Craig followed in his footsteps. For six decades, the secret agent with a license to kill has been an integral part of the cinema landscape. It has long since become a pop culture phenomenon that inspires an audience of millions.
Serving as both historical account and tribute, the 102-minute "James Bond at 60" is complemented by expert analysis of long-time fans who have come to love and cherish the adventures of fictional secret agent James Bond. Among them are David Zaritsky of The Bond Experience, Aimee Waha of the James Bond Club Germany, Jorrit van der Valk of James Bond Nederland as well as Matt Sherman of BondFanEvents.com.
"The documentary lives from the analysis and opinions of a panel of selected fans. It's great to have their views because they provide an unfiltered look on the evolution of the cinematic James Bond", says director Benjamin Lind.
Apart from that, the documentary features enhanced and partly colorized photos as well as an instrumental score by Swiss composer Yannick Zenhäusern and is presented in 4K Ultra HD.
"James Bond at 60" will be available for free on YouTube from 05 October 2022.
