Lan Yu, China’s top wedding dress and couture designer, prepares to hold her first International showcase in Paris this Sunday ahead of Paris Fashion Week.Beijing, China, September 09, 2013 -- Lan Yu, China’s top wedding dress and couture designer, prepares to hold her first International showcase in Paris this Sunday ahead of Paris Fashion Week.
Invited guests will be given a 1-1 global preview and introduction to a selection of eight dresses from her 2013 Collection. The private event will run from September 19th to 22nd, hosted in an intimate setting at Le Burgundy Hotel, Paris. The preview will provide guests with an exclusive first look at the dresses, as well as an opportunity to share their outlook and ideas on Lan Yu’s unique combination of Su Xiu (苏绣), a form of Chinese traditional embroidery, with Western couture design.
On the occasion, Lan Yu hopes to share her inspirations, the importance Su Xiu plays in her designs and how her ‘Just for You. Just for Love’ approach to be-spoke customer service sets her brand apart.
As Lan Yu now prepares to expand her brand to western markets, the showcase in Paris will serve as the first presentation of her unique design aesthetic on the global stage, and the formal introduction of the art of Su Xiu in the world of western haute couture.
